  5. Surveying for building construction (5 hours)
    1. Understanding of building structure
    2. Topographic survey and mapping
    3. Methods of setting out of foundation and structures, requirement of equipments and accessories.

  6. Highways construction (5 hours)
    1. Introduction to alignment
    2. Cross-drainage and road structures
    3. Network of horizontal and vertical controls
    4. Layout methods
      1. centre-line control
      2. random control stations

  7. Street constructions, railroads, culverts and bridges (6 hours)

  8. Alignment and setting out of (9 hours)
    1. Sewers and pipelines
    2. Tunnels and Dams

  9. As built survey (3 hours)
